Listed for $10.881 million in June, the asking price for the 4,372-square-foot Mill Valley home at 114 Inez Place, which was at the center of a neighborhood brawl over the placement of a memorial bench at the end of its property, was reduced 13 percent to $9.495 million in August and then another 18 percent to $7.8 million in September.
Last night, the list price for 114 Inez was reduced another $850,000 (11 percent) to $6.95 million, for a total reduction of $3.931 million (36 percent) over the past five months.
In the comments section of the original Boy Scouts story, someone wrote, “I hope this house lingers on the market until the next recession and sells for a fraction of the ask.”
