Founded in a former sign factory building at 7-9 Langton Street back in 2007, “Langton Labs” was an “arts-driven warehouse community with a population of scientists, artists, engineers and world travelers,” a millennial commune of “engineers instead of hippies.”

Sold for $2.35 million in August of 2016, the 6,000-square-foot building remains an “eclectic” live/work space, configured with a warren of nine bedrooms, two and a half baths, a full kitchen, multi-purpose rooms and a main garage/event/storage/work space.

And the Langton Labs building, which sits on a 4,000-square-foot parcel zoned for residential development up to 40 feet in height, is now back on the market with a $2.5 million price tag, positioned as “an exciting opportunity for investors or creative real estate developers.”

  1. I grew up in that house and it looks nothing like it once was. Many great memories as a kid. We lived in the house while my father worked in the shop that was a huge sign company. As a kid we used to roam around the shop while he worked. The Sign company sold the building about 15 years ago so my family moved with. It was home for my parents for over 30 years and over 20 for me. I’ll always remember my house
