The Presidio Heights mansion at 3444 Washington Street, which onetime Bank of America Chairman and CEO, David Coulter, purchased along with his wife, Susan Weeks Coulter, for $15.225 million in 2006 is now back on the market with an $18 million price tag.
As plugged-in people might recall, the Coulters had listed the renovated 9,100-square-foot pad for $17.5 million May of 2008, an offering which was withdrawn from the market in 2009 despite having been reduced to $12 million at the time.
The six-bedroom home features some big views from its upper floors and the outdoor amphitheater remains.
And the outdoor kitchen/snack bar is (under the) deck-ed out.
That’s one of the ugliest stagings I have ever seen! Nice house, though.
and there’s a bidet!
Not sure that its staging…maybe something Hugh McColl foisted on David Coulter?
Come on, it was “a merger of equals”…remember? 🙂
(It’s only coincidence that what we always knew as the Bank of America Bldg is now known as 555 California)
Looks like a 2018 Decorators Showcase candidate to me!
Welcome to my fortnightly barbeque and outdoor movie! You can pick up your thermal underwear and bearskin cloak at the coat rack. We recommend huddling with a friend, or, if you are alone, jogging in place.

Not only were you not late, you were effectively a little early: Banker’s Eight-Figure Presidio Heights Pad Fails to Fetch its ’06 Price
