Listed for $2.895 million in July, the asking price for the remodeled Edwardian at 4334 19th Street was reduced to $2.3 in August. And yesterday, the sale of the four-bedroom home closed escrow with a reported contract price of $2.7 million – officially $400K “over asking” (or $195K under original list).
The seller had purchased the property for $1.6 million in 2007 as an already remodeled “archetype Edwardian,” but then remodeled a bit more and added the garage which didn’t previously exist.
The kitchen is very tastefully done. Seeing original details (especially that fireplace!) is refreshing. Soon people will realize that this style is timeless and all the new flashy designs will be dated within a few years.
Was this taken with a Go Pro or is the garage just for hobbits in dune buggies?
The garage height is hobbit only! How could it be approved? It’s like 5’6″ clearance tops!
