Currently zoned for development up to 65 feet in height but expected to be up-zoned to 85 feet based on the pending Central SoMa Plan, the South of Market parking lot on the northwest corner of Brannan and Ritch is on the market and soliciting developers.
Assuming it’s rezoned, the 424 Brannan Street parcel, which fronts Ritch and Zoe Streets as well, could potentially hold up to 130 units of housing or a 128,000-square-foot office building, according to the San Francisco Business Times.
its not going to be the only location redone ,
with the Central Subway going in one should expect that a massive rebuilding will soon happen along both Bryant & Brannan between 5th & 2nd Streets ,
I wonder if there are any developments being proposed for the Starbucks/Wells Fargo and accompanying parking lot on the corner of 4th and Brannan.
Hope they keep a pedestrian connection between Zoe and Ritch.
