Having dropped 9.0 percent on a year-over-year basis in August, recorded home sales in San Francisco are poised to drop again in September. And that’s despite the fact that September home sales in San Francisco were the lowest in over 15 years in 2018.
In fact, if recorded sales in September are down over 4.4 percent on a year-over-year basis, which they are currently on pace to be, year-to-date sales through the first three quarters in San Francisco will total the fewest since 2010 and remain down over 7 percent versus the first three quarters of last year.
