While the Spanish Mediterranean estate at 11627 Dawson Drive is still looking for a buyer, the newly built Los Altos Hills home at 25755 Carado Court, which was originally listed for $11.988 million last year, has just sold for $9.75 million or roughly $1,285 per square foot.
The nearly 7,600-square-foot home features a contemporary open floor plan, wide plank Oak floors, and walls of glass that open the home to the outdoors.
The kitchen is outfitted with imported cabinetry and Miele appliances.
And the three-car garage on the lower level includes the expected charger for an electric car.
Given this is new construction, its a bit hard to determine if the original asking price was simply unrealistic or if indeed there is actually some price slippage in the area.
Coupled with the story just below about the 46% reduction in the Silicon Valley estate’s asking price, one wonders if prices are bumping up against a silicon ceiling in the Silicon Valley.
You call that Spanish Mediterranean? Where is the stucco? Where is the tile? It looks more like a small, elegant office building in the International Style.
No. But as we wrote above: “While the Spanish Mediterranean estate at 11627 Dawson Drive is still looking for a buyer, the newly built Los Altos Hills home at 25755 Carado Court…”
