Belles Townhomes
As we wrote three weeks ago:

In conjunction with Forest City’s Presidio Landmark redevelopment, the seven three-bedroom, three-bath, and three-story new construction Belles Townhomes are about to hit the rental market.

Specific rents have yet to be revealed, but “local executive Alexa Arena said they will be comparable to what you might pay in Nob Hill or Russian Hill for a three-bedroom home with private decks, views, and parking.”

And as a plugged-in reader quickly added, “the leasing office is targeting $7,500 to $9,000 per month for the townhomes.”
Today, the first two Belles Townhomes officially hit the market with asking rents of $7,800. That’s a (plugged-in) bingo!

  1. These are being rented by Forest City. They over-priced the hospital units nearby and have barely leased any of those units.
I have rented one of the duplexes next to these condos. Much better value. Also, there is a 4BR house that is being offered at $6,830 next to the condos that is a steal compared to $7,800 for the 3BR condos.

  2. Very nice. I like them. Kinda looks like Emeryville(sp) though…. Just out of curiosity, what would the units rent for if they were located in Oakland or San Jose? (Sorry for the rambling post…)

  3. I really like these, especially that roof top deck!
Kind of awkward having one bedroom by the Garage, but it’s not a deal killer… just makes it more of a 2 plus 1 instead of a 3 Bedroom (for my lifestyle).
nice and bright and airy. I like it. not sure about the asking prices, but I never am.
overall I like them a lot.

  4. @Fishchum: Surprisingly, no noise. The freeway is more in a “canyon” and there’s plenty of trees and fog blocking out the noise.
