  1. Now this is nicely done! The teak ceiling on the top floor is a little much for my taste, but still very nice overall.
Kudos to the architect / designer!

  2. That top floor is pretty fantastic, with the flow out to the deck and the warm wood on the ceiling. A lot of built-ins — both furniture and (the very needed) privacy blinds. Oh, and there is that little old view.
My only design nits are the odd placed fireplace on the ground floor, what appears to be a too shallow overhang on the island and a prep sink that should be at the other end (by the fridge). And that is a pretty remote third BR but the rear patio is quite nice (for your au pair, I guess).

  3. whats with this new crappy deck glass everyone seems to be using….I’m sure it has to do with the stupid a** pigeon planning rule, but at least use a smooth film or frosted glass .

  4. Delisted, 2/26/14. Offers? I wonder. Curious why this never sold. The exterior looks like a machine for living more than a traditional house, but I thought that was the point for most people.
I think it will be back on soon. Still seems like a nice place with killer views.

  5. A two bedroom house, plus a nice pentroom with view, and another bedroom behind the garage, all fixed up, on a small lot in the Richmond District, near a fancy neighborhood.
And it did not sell for $4m.
Perhaps the market is starting to speak back.

  6. The market is fairly insane right now and this is a great outcome. Buyer got a great home and seller got a good price. I do wonder if it could have gone higher. The Jack Dorsey home is starting to look like a great deal.
Back to 101 27th, I guess there are a few other jilted buyers in the market right now looking for homes. Maybe one of them will snatch it up.
