It’s certainly not unusual for Decorator Showcase homes to hit the market shortly after their ticketed showcasing has ended. But they typically don’t hit the market a few days into their month-long run.
And having just opened its doors a few days ago, the 2018 Decorator Showcase home at 465 Marina Boulevard, which was purchased for $8 million ($8,000,888 to be precise) in October of 2015 and recently “re-imagined by some of the areas top designers,” is now back on the market with an $8.995 million price tag and touting: “More photos coming May 8th.”
This thing is a design disaster.
Is it just me, or is the lightning in the living room designed to hit people on the head?
I think it’s hanging over the dining table.
I like the marble above the tub.
Probably gets removed when the showcase ends
Keep in mind all of the “designer” stuff can presumably be removed if you buy this.
i like the living room fabrics/upholstery, the blue bedroom, and the bathroom (though not my taste). and i find kitchen (viewed online somewhere) pleasantly artful.
I am a featured advertiser in this years showcase catalogue and i must say I am a bit embarrassed by this year’s showcase of design. Not sure if i will advertise here again. It all started by selecting the wrong home for this year’s event.
Decorator no case. Looks like a kindergarten art class designed many of these rooms.
All that flat white gives me a migraine.
Apparently, this was the only house they could get. Why is that?
