Never mind the kitchen; we’re focused on the dining and living room wood. And we’re liking what it likely says about the condition of the rest of the house.

Sweet! But the kitchen and family room need to go…
I have paint sprayer and know how to use it.
What is wrong with turquoise Formica and a paneled FmlRm? Though the kit cabz need a good cleaning and some Liquid Gold.
Is there anyone on here old enough to remember “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman”? I remember her saying, “I use XYZ furniture polish on my kitchen cabinets to bring out the natural gain of the formica.”
^ Yes.
Either that Realtor’s website really sucks or it isn’t compatible with Macs. And where the hell is the photo of the front of the house?
Google Street view has this.
It looks like a very nice house. Is Westwood Highlands very far from Edinburgh?
There’s a reason the front of the house is not being shown… because it is hideous!
FWIW, Redfin has (bad lowres) photos of the front and back yards:

As lol mentioned, the Google street view is instructive, but it’s a case where the inside doesn’t seem to match the outside.
I realize my link was broken…
The Redfin pics show a garden and staircase with a structure somehow distinguishable in the background.
Curb appeal is not the selling point, obviously.
Some of the wood I like. Some I don’t. I’s like 1900 solid wood meets 1960 cheapo plycrap with stain.
As always, the place looks 5 times bigger from the inside on the pics. I expect Dr Who to pop out at anytime now.
The sale of 810 Joost closed escrow today with a reported contract price of $715,000.
