A plugged-in tipster reports with respect to The Folsom Lantern Building:
Another George Hauser project taken back by lenders [as 1168 Folsom was foreclosed upon]. Redwood Mortgage, which held a 3.5 million 2nd took back the property last Weds 2/17/2010. There is a senior loan for 6.5 million.
As usual, plugged-in people saw it coming. And we wouldn’t be surprised to see the 20-unit building back on the market sometime soon.

I know there are some Hauser haters on here (and it sounds like there may be good reason). But I just want to give him some props for the sidewalk treatment. I’d love to see much more of that in SOMA.
What will happen to the beer store!!!
curmudgeon:
you beat me to it.
That sidewalk is so much more awesome than the concrete right next door.
And trees!!!!!
Ohhh, I’ve been to that beer store. It was one of the only places I could find pumpkin beer. I couldn’t believe they had a “corking fee” for a bottle of beer that they sell though…
CBS does not have a fee for bottles of beer that they sell. They have a fee for bottles of beer that they serve.
Now offered as rentals. 3/2 for $3000 by the usually overpriced gavin coombs.
