Curbed is the first to catch the non-listed website for 2056-2058 Jefferson, a Richard Neutra designed Marina duplex that has been restored by its current owner-architect.
And with a couple of classic shots of days (and view) long past.
UPDATE: Well, obviously we were the ones confused about this one. Not only is 2056-2058 Jefferson listed on the MLS, but it has been for 118 days. Luckily Richard Neutra was the original architect, so at least that tidbit is correct.
Cheers to all, an excellet use of comments, and thanks for setting us straight.

∙ Neutra revisited: A restoration of a modern gem [Sunset]
Editor,
Curbed would not have been first to catch it if you ever looked at my tips and apples. I sent this in a long time ago.
[Editor’s Note: Now, now, we always look at your tips and apples (of which this is not), but we can’t find any record of this one coming our way (tips@socketsite.com). Regardless, please keep ’em coming, and as always, thank you for plugging in. Cheers.]
Not my style, but I can appreciate the restoration to the original.
Killer roofdeck, though. Perfect spot for my Blue Angels party.
This has been for sale for a while. Sort of interesting. Not sure why the curbed crew is all gaga over it.
Wow, this must be a relisting since this duplex was on the market last year for many months.
I thought there was a rule against having people or pets in MLS photos. Does anyone know about this?
[Editor’s Note: Keep in mind it’s not on the MLS.]
Having been in these units a couple of times, they are quite wonderful – beautifully proportioned rooms, wonderful even quality of light, great floor plans, and absolutely pristine details. Makes the other schlock in the neighborhood feel like just that.
But it is on the MLS: http://sfarmls.rapmls.com/scripts/mgrqispi.dll?APPNAME=Sanfrancisco&PRGNAME=MLSPropertyDetail&ARGUMENTS=-N132356251,-N239129,-N,-A,-N21722289
[Editor’s Note: Doh! (and see below or UPDATE above).]

Cheers to all, an excellet use of comments, and thanks for setting us straight. Now back to the house and architecture …
hideous except for the deck – looks like my old dorm room. raze it and build a better contemporary building.
While I wouldn’t call it hideous, the sliding glass windows do remind me of cheap student housing.
The thing that bugs me about this place is how it totally doesn’t fit in with the neighborhood. It stands out like a sore thumb and not in a good way. Not sure who the buyer would be for it at this pricepoint.
After 160 days on the market, the listing for 2056-2058 Jefferson has been withdrawn from the MLS without a sale.
This Neutra is wonderfully elegant… not complex and not cluttered… Modern is not for everybody, but for those of us who like it, it is off the charts!
Beautiful – and the upper unit, with the deck, is now for rent. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/apa/2207434105.html
The SFR next door just sold for $2.58, 683 psft. It was in good shape, but decorated in a very dated, suburban manner and could use some cosmetic redoing.
