$5M is still a LOT of money for out there. I know it sold for a little over $4M in 2003 and was then extensively renovated (I saw the trucks all the time – I lived around the corner basically), but still I am surprised that it sold for this much in this environment. I estimated $4.5M and I was wrong!
For a large house on a fairly decent sized parcel of land in SF…$5M really doesn’t seem that bad even in this environment.
But those blue floors… will the new owner keep them?
