A tongue-in-cheek (we think) tip and chuckle from a plugged-in reader: “What does it say about the market when one of the top agents has a sign like this?”
UPDATE: According to a plugged-in tipster the agent is out front fixing the sign. Total time elapsed from our post to the agent being on site: a little over an hour.
Can’t really say what it says about the market. Certainly we can infer what it says about this particular website’s editorial vision.
I’m sure the agent will fix this ASAP. I’m sure it’s more a logistics issue than actual cost cutting.
This will never beat the “Bubble Bench” from mid-2006 in DC.

@fluj — lighten up, it’s funny!
As long as they chop the pillows, I’m gonna let it slide 🙂
It says that the market is so hot that this poor, misunderstood agent hardly has time to do simple upkeep…
But I was making a joke too! of a more sardonic bent, but a joke nonetheless. There’s truth in humor, after all.
More a sign of how much fun people have knocking r.e. signs over.
Duct tape makes for easy removal of sign for dual use as a sandwich board.
Well at least the sign is safe from terrorism.
what a crappy sign. I hate that font.
This house is right around the corner, it’s a $5M+ neighborhood and the sign isn’t new…
I’ll bet this is a windy neighborhood.
who cares, it’s just a sign. they get tagged on, messed with, blown around, kicked around, etc all the time. i’m not sure the quality of the sign makes much of a difference, especially if the agent plans on fixing it.
here is another Sotheby’s sign with tons of graffiti on it, it’s a $4m+ lot listing that is not officially on the market, but the sign remains…
Right, what do you expect for your six per cent, a sign that doesn’t look like it came off a used car lot?
BTW, is Socketsite now allowing posters to link to their commercial sites? Let me know your ad rates, I might want in.
[Editor’s Note: It’s a judgment call (based on whether or not the comment adds any value to the conversation), outright solicitations/spam are still junked, and it has absolutely nothing to do with advertising.]
Owned by NRT. Are all real estate companies in the world owned by NRT? Or is it just the united states?
oh my. poor listing it has a wack sign… thats worth at least a 10k credit at closing…
