Having traded up to a gated $5.8 million home in Alamo, which was purchased at a $1.5 million discount to its original $7.3 million list price, Steph and Ayesha Curry have just listed the 7,520-square-foot Walnut Creek pad at 620 Sugarloaf Court which they purchased for $3.2 million last November.
And while the $3.7 million asking price is $500K more than they paid, keep in mind that they spent upwards of $400K to upgrade the home, including a remodeled kitchen – with new cabinetry, copious amounts of marble and a La Cornue range which were used to shoot a Food Network series for Ayesha – and a completely rebuilt master bath, with a walk-in steam shower and BainUltra therapeutic bathtub for Steph.
That is some depressing, mopey staging. The house is already pretty muted in color. Having grey furniture just makes it unappealing.
You prefer more of this kind of stuff, amiright?
Chandeliers in every room!
Unappealing and mopey/ depressing to you is understated, quiet and relaxed to others. When I get home, I don’t like it looking like the local Thai take out. Some of us like the simplicity.
Compared to the homes of other sports celebrities, I find this to be very livable and not pimped out.
I was thinking more like this sports celebrity.
Some browns, golds. More orange and red accents, more textures (fuzzy, etc).
Just thought for such a high end listing, they would have better and more expensive staging. This looks like the kind of setup they put in any upgraded, whitewashed Sunset district home.
