As of yesterday, roughly 513,400 people were registered to vote in San Francisco; 346,000 mail-in ballots had been issued for today’s election; and 154,000 ballots had been returned.
We’ll run the early results for the real estate related measures, including Proposition B (the parcel tax to fund City College), C (financing for affordable housing), E (responsibility for street trees), J (funding for homelessness and transportation), M (establishment of a Housing and Development Commission), O (an exception for office development at Hunters and Candlestick Point), P (competitive bidding for affordable housing construction), U (raising the income limits for below market rate rental units), W (raising the transfer tax for property sales over $5 million), and X (preservation of PDR, community and arts space) as soon as they’re released this evening.
If you haven’t already voted, please do. You have until 8pm. And if you have voted, thank you.
