It’s amazing how much of a difference decent new windows can make.
Can one of the architects or builders out there please explain that entry staircase to me? MC Escher homage?
^^They are made that way so that birds do not fly into them.
Very nice work. Bernal gentrification continues apace.
Really nice area, great sun, easy freeway access. Next to wonderful shopping for food and furniture on weekends. Nice ambient noise from the local gentry. over the top remodel. wonderful brownstone feel with painted brick.
So I guess the lesson from this flip is that unrenovated houses have no value ($442k is the lot value) until rebuilt?
I’m not surprised actually.
WOW that’s a pretty darn nice transformation. I like it. Darn! And the price was quite nice!
can someone else please call out wifey and Ginny for being shills? Not my SS job.
“really nice area” “ambient noise” “brownstone feel with painted brick”.
Wow, can you say I’m the Seller any louder?
I guess Ginny is just trying to sell something – SS comments going downhill
I admit it: I live here. The ambient noise from the freeway is killing me and I cannot take the flea market any longer. I am also very tired of hearing my neighbors rush to the airport that I have such close proximity too. I promise to pressure wash the bricks. Hangemhi: r u willing to make a offer on line in front of millions of webbies, right her , right now?
Was the teleophone pole to the left of the “before” photo removed, or was it disappeared via photoshop?
The electricity was undergrounded so recently that the shadow of the pole hasn’t faded from the house yet.
I think it was edited out by moving a little to the left while taking the new picture
Any guestimates on cost of renovation??
The sale of 580 Banks closed escrow today with a reported contract price of $825,000 ($453 per remodeled square foot).
Wow, that is a big number.
I am surprised by this number, too. Well, the more the better! (Ahmm, full disclosure: Bernal resident.)
