A tax assessed value of $2,393,000 would suggest a sale price not too far from the $2,350,000 asking price for 1333 Jones Street #505 when last on the market. Back on the market today, the two-bedroom and two-bath Comstock Co-op is asking $2,395,000.

The sale of 1333 Jones Street #505 closed escrow yesterday with a reported contract price of $2,000,000.

  1. $450K up in smoke. And that was a late 2004 or early 2005 buy.
    Further proof that the things that are selling right now are those offered by a seller who is far more realistic about pricing than in years past. And further proof that buyers are bargaining hard.

    Ok…. yes, if you offer your place at 2006-2008 pricing, it’s probably not going to sell. Butif you’re realistic, it will sell.
    Duh.
