It’s a Mill Building (720 York) brick and timber loft with 15-foot ceilings; a 1,749 square foot floor plan; and plan by the current architect-owner to add a second bathroom on the mezzanine level where the walk-in closet “with sewer and water line” currently stands.
∙ Listing: 720 York #112 (1/1) – $875,000 [Payton’s List]
does … not … compute …
I’m calculating a floorplan size of 1200 sq.ft. How do they get 1749 sq.ft. ?
[Editor’s Note: First floor alone looks to be between 1250-1300 plus a mezzanine of around 450 (check the links to the online floor plans for the scale).]
Tax records state 1749sq ft
Can someone please explain to me how “Not on MLS” is a highlight?
Thanks.
Not mentioned a part of the new plans, but it appears substantial storage (albeit low headroom)would be added below the raised living mezzanine. Does the bedroom have stair connecting to the Living? Anyways, the redesign is a big improvement over the existing even if the size of the bedroom suffers.
so, how long after I pay the “owner/architect” seller my $875k will he/she have the renovations all done and ready for me to move in?
I looked at this development when it was new. At that time, only artists were allowed to purchase the units (and therefore prices were a bit lower). Is that still a restriction on this property? And, I think that it was required that the owner would also do work from the unit.
Is an architect considered to be an artist?
