455 28th Street: Kitchen
It’s “remodeled.” We’re “speechless.” You’re responsible for the headline (seriously).

  1. LOL
I especially love the flower close-up pics; to me that alone totally sells this place. I’m praying this place wasn’t staged by a professional (nor remodeled by one…)

  2. @phatty — my headline: “I learned how to use the macro setting on my point-and-shoot camera”
    fantastic deck views tho 🙂

  3. “Well, shake it up, baby, now, (shake it up, baby)
Twist and shout. (twist and shout)
    C’mon c’mon, c’mon, c’mon, baby, now, (come on baby)
Come on and work it on out. (work it on out)”

  4. I’m disappointed that they didn’t continue this theme throughout the entire house.
And it would have been awesome if they would have photoshopped the black and white squares onto the roses at the end of the listing.
If I buy that house, they better promise that I see THAT EXACT rose since they included it as part of the listing.

  5. These headlines are hilarious – I laughed ’til I cried. I vote for either the Zebra headline, the Home Depot one, or the M.C. Escher. Seriously, I can’t stop crying now…

  6. The fact that the retina burning kitchen photo has been removed from MLS is a sure sign that the listing agent can be expected to be honest and forthcoming with information on this house. 😉
Maybe those foreign buyers who can’t see the property in person will find a statement buried deep in the disclosure docs like this :
“Kitchen tilework known to induce seizures and involuntary vomiting.”

  7. OK I figured it out. If you look at the bathrooms, one is all black and one is all white. The tiles in the kitchen are actually all the same color too but it’s an optical illusion based on the light angle that makes it appear to be a checkerboard. please check out this website courtesy of M.I.T.:

Now give the agent a break and come to the open house when the light is at a little different angle.
I’m sure there’s also an explanation of how they got 3 bedrooms and two baths in less than 1100 sq ft. Unless of course the one bed/bath downstairs are not warranted and thus not included in the sq footage, and thus at risk of the building dept forcing the owner to rip them out.
