Up for vote, Supervisor Peskin’s “Prohibition on condominium conversion for buildings where specified evictions occurred” (Item #19) and Supervisor Maxwell’s “Adopting the Redevelopment Plan for the Bayview Hunters Point Redevelopment Project” (item #29). (And let’s not forget Item #13, “Prohibiting Smoking on Golf Courses.”)
Added intrigue: the SFHomeBlog hints that Peskin will amend his legislation to remove the retroactivity clause we identified as the expected sticking point for his legislation. A true concession or savvy maneuvering?
