25 Tanglewood Road, Berkeley

Having undergone a $2.5 million renovation and expansion led by architect Stanley Saitowitz a decade ago, the “light-filled contemporary box” with 4,250 square feet of modern living space on a double Claremont District lot returned to the market this past April listed for $4.25 million.

Yesterday, the sale of 25 Tanglewood Road closed escrow with a reported contract price of $3.9 million or roughly $800 per square foot if you include the detached 600 square-foot guest house.

  1. Which would be easier to type and better communicate info using “East Bay” or “Berkeley”…

  2. Can’t say the creepy small person statue in the bathroom added a lot of value in the staging.

    Nice house though!
