25 Tanglewood Road, Berkeley

Having undergone a $2.5 million renovation and expansion led by architect Stanley Saitowitz a decade ago, the “light-filled contemporary box” with 4,250 square feet of modern living space on a double Claremont District lot returned to the market this past April listed for $4.25 million.

Yesterday, the sale of 25 Tanglewood Road closed escrow with a reported contract price of $3.9 million or roughly $800 per square foot if you include the detached 600 square-foot guest house.

Which would be easier to type and better communicate info using “East Bay” or “Berkeley”…

Can’t say the creepy small person statue in the bathroom added a lot of value in the staging.

    Nice house though!
