With the one-year extension to start work on the 40-story residential building approved to rise at 340 Fremont Street set to expire in two months, the building permit for the 348-unit development has yet to be approved but it is making its way through Planning with the demolition permit to clear the site for construction awaiting a few signatures as well.
looks like one of the towers at the metropolitan will be losing valuable bridge views, but on the bright side, they’ll be gaining new neighbors.
Can’t wait for this one to get underway, along with 399 Fremont across the street. Both of these, along with 45 Lansing and 201 Folsom will help One Rincon Hill meld into the rest of the skyline much better.
^Not to mention ORH2. Once these all come together ORH won’t look so lonely.
The Rincon Hill neighborhood will be complete in 5 years, very exciting!
UPDATE: Demolition approved, But Permit For 40-Story Rincon Hill Tower to rise Suspended.
