Purchased for $1,250,000 in 2008, the one-bedroom live/work loft number one at 38 Lusk returned to the market in July 2009 with a splashy new bath and listed for $1,499,000.
Withdrawn from the market that December without a reduction or reported sale, the 1,850 square foot (per its current listing) condo has just been listed anew for $1,398,000.
As the less splashy bath above looked in 2008:
And while we don’t think you’ll find any permits for the remodeling online, keep in mind that doesn’t means it didn’t happen (or was free).
Just looove the “exhibitionist victorian” (just made that name up) bathtub fashon that doesn’t even have curtain around.
Actually, I think this design is a royal pain, imagine all the water on the floor if anyone wanbted to take a regular stand-up shower.
And then there is the sink and table with the nicely exposed plumbing, tenement style circa 1930s, perhaps? And of course, the complete lack of storage for anything.
Yeah, everyone will hate these idiotic bathrooms within just a few years.
just7me: that bathroom doesn’t have a shower.
^ look at the photo, there’s a handheld shower attachment on the tub.
What happened to the toilet?
Tax records show 1359 sq ft. Anyone know what’s up with stated 1850 sq ft?
What a beautiful home!
Nice photo and art collection. Horst!
