With Festivus fast approaching, the list price for the East Bay estate at 10 Serenity Lane in Alamo has just been reduced by $7 million – now asking $35 million for the 101-acre property which includes a 13,000-square-foot main home, a designer 12,000-square-foot “car barn” of which the real Jerry would be proud, and a 1,600-square-foot pool house with a one-bedroom apartment.
The estate is planted with a vineyard. And the home includes a 750-square-foot wine cellar with its own dining area, wet bar, half-bath and temperature controlled storage for 5,000 bottles. Cheers.

No aluminum pole?
Not enough parking.
Where’s Scarface now that we need him?
I wish I could unsee that.
It’s pretty hideous, but the lot is amazing. The next owner needs to tear it down and build something decent. Say what you will about the “gilded age, ” but the wealthy back then knew how to build truly spectacular homes that stand the test of time.
