The façade of 281 Clara is sporting a more modern new look by architect John McLean whose office just so happens to be located at 281 Clara #8 which just so happens to have hit the market asking $525,000. As the building looked before:
∙ Listing: 281 Clara #8 (1/1.5) – $525,000 [MLS]
∙ John McLean, Architect [aiasf.org]
Hmm so did he get the HOA to pay for a facelift right before selling? If so not a bad deal!
The new green centered color scheme on that accent panel is much better than the original turquoise/red/orange/yellow cross patterned version.
A rough location but a nice looking place.
Hope the staging pays off.
Very reminiscent of BP’s color scheme, unfortunately!
If only the building had the style and classic cool of the El Camino in the photo.
The addition of colors will not help the appearance of that building.
Perhaps it can become like the Empire State Building; it changes colors for different occasions.
Why is the side of the building painted plywood? Are they expecting another building to be constructed next door?
^if they are they shouldnt have put those windows on the side
The sale of 281 Clara #8 closed escrow on 08/03 with a reported contract price of $525,000.
