It’s a Claude Oakland designed Eichler across the bridge in Lucas Valley. Built in 1963 but renovated (modern lovers keep looking, Eichler purists look away) and expanded since.
We’re not sure we get the carpeted dining room, but otherwise we’re digging the design (and lot). Not yet listed but the vanity site just went live and asking $1,550,000.

Hope springs eternal. LoL
Beautiful house…but who wants to live in a boring subdivision in the middle of nowhere? Oh goody! To go anywhere or do anything I have to hop on fuc&^%$ Highway 101!
Suburbia is suburbia, not matter the pedigree of the architecture.
Nice house. Good website. The pic of the table jammed in that little alley makes the whole thing suspect. I like it though. Not sure how this comps out to other homes in the area?
I’m not a fan of suburbia, but this house overlooks beautiful nature, rather than suburban lawns. If I had to commute, that is where I would want to commute.
At $1.55M, this might be the all-time record for an Eichler in Lucas Valley. The average is under $1M and still dropping fast. And there’s no swimming pool! Eichler prices have always seemed insane to me for tract housing. Commuting to the city is tough from up there – but not bad if you work at Skywalker Ranch or if you like to hang out at Rancho Nicasio. Why don’t these websites with music start with the music OFF and let you turn it on if you want? What % of viewers want to hear music at a site like this?
Formal dining room? I don’t think so.
Otherwise they did some nice things. I like the polished concrete floor.
Overglorified double-wide mobile home.
This house will transact, sometime in the next 3 years, for 800K or less.
The commute from Lucas Valley to SF is a breeze. Short 10 min drive to Larkspur and you’re on the ferry, which is a fantastic way to get to work. Or Golden Gate Transit runs a bus right down Lucas Valley to the FiDi. It takes about 45 minutes, but you can read, sleep, relax, etc.
I love that couch. Does anyone know where that’s from?
That’s a pretty nice house. I like it!
Anybody know if this is a standard model or floorplan? It looks like a atrium model with some major changes.
