As we first reported earlier this month, the infamous Gurbaksh Chahal’s penthouse atop the Infinity had just been listed anew with an official ‘1’ day on the market and an ‘original’ asking price of $7.995 million, an effective reduction of $4 million from its asking price of $12 million ten months ago.

And this weekend, G’s penthouse with delisted from the MLS without a reported sale.

The penthouse, 301 Main Street #37B, was purchased by Chahal for $6.925 million in early 2008 and another million was subsequently invested in upgrading the condo, which included a reported $250,000 in marble flooring alone.

  1. Indeed, the “upgrading” turned the place into a horror show. Needs to be priced to reflect that the new buyer is going to rip out much of the interior.

  2. I do not understand those pendant lights hanging in front of the picture windows. It seems like a strange place for illumination as half of the light is going to fall outside. Also they interfere with looking out at that tremendous view, especially at night. Is there some logic behind this configuration that I am missing?

  3. Before this unit will sell, every piece of personal effects from this cretin needs to be removed. Examples:
    1. The “G” on the floor in the living area
    2. The “Chahal” on the glass in the wine storage area
    3. The headboard in the master bedroom with the “G” on it
    4. ALL his clothes in the master closet. Just looking at them gives me the willies.
    5. And for g*d’s sake, repaint the ceiling in the master bedroom. Given the fact that he almost beat his girlfriend to death, blood red on the ceiling is hardly appropriate.

  4. UPDATE: G’s penthouse atop the Infinty tower at 301 Main Street has once again been listed anew for $7.995 million, and with an official “1” day on the market according to industry stats and reports.
