Purchased by the Driscoll family for $8.675 million in 2001, the five-acre “English country manor” estate in Woodside at 155 Kings Mountain Road features 6,000 square feet of living space, with three kitchens (the main kitchen, the catering kitchen, and the poolside kitchen); a detached garage with wine cellar; and an 8-stall horse barn with a lounge and full bar above.

There’s a little less manor-like pool and cabana as well.

And the “fabulouswoodsideestate” is now back on the market and listed for $25 million.

    1. Network with other horses and dish about their owners. “Say, old boy, have you seen my wine collection?” “Why no, I was too busy sourcing my own organic greens.”

    2. Well, Woodside does have a huge network of horse trails and has a reputation for being extremely horse friendly.

      1. Probably. My former boss has a home in Woodside though I haven’t been in it. No horses though. He commuted into FiDi everyday via 280. Those were the good ole days…

  1. Not sure why the sellers are leaning on “English country” for panache. “Woodside estate” sounds pretty darn good and is also 100% true.

  2. OMG. Don’t they have any decent decorators in Woodside?
The only thing worth saving is the barn.
