The proposed four-story building to be built on the south side of Lombard between Pierce and Scott has been approved to rise with 21 market rate dwelling units over ground floor retail and parking.
Such a better use of space compared to what is there now. This will really improve that that part of Lombard. Now there are a bunch of new condo buildings on that block. At the corner of Scott/Lombard and Pierce/Lombard and now this one!
Not necessarily the most interesting building in the world, but glad to see the street wall continuing to develop on Lombard regardless. Despite being a busy street, you are smack in the middle of two of the most vibrant commercial corridors in the city. Anybody know if anything has ever been proposed for the vacant lot to the left of this building?
